Dil hi to hai is ko koi sataye kiyon 
Sataye to phir shiddat-e-gham se bhar na aaye kiyon 

Dil tornay walay sada 'be'kal hi rahay 
Mohabbat ko meri umar-e-khizar lag na jaye kiyon
