Hum thaam'tay hi reh gaye zanjeer-e-waqat ko

Hum thaam'tay hi reh gaye zanjeer-e-waqat ko

Aya , ruka , hansa , mura aur aik pal gaya

Had-e-junoon ko dekhna aadat hai ishq ki

Roshan raha chragh aur parwana jal gaya
