bohat malul tha main, udaas tha woh bhi
kisi k shehar mein guftgu ki hawaon se
ye soch kar keh, kahin aas paas tha woh bhi
hum apne zahm mein khush thay ky us ko bhool chukay
magr gumaan tha ye bhi, qayas tha woh bhi
kahan ab gham-e-dunya keh ab gham-e- jaana
wo din bhi the k humein ye raas tha aur woh bhi
faraz tere girebaan pe kal jo hansta tha
usey mile to daridaa libaas tha woh bhi
