Wohi Arz-e-haal tha hoo bahoo tumhain yaad hum ne bhout kiya
Wohi hont thay wohi phool thay wohi be'misal udaasiyan
Wohi khwaab tha wohi aarzoo tumhain yaad hum ne bhout kiya
Wohi Aarzoo-e-wasal thi , jo roz-o-shab ki misaal thi
Wohi dil'kashi , wohi rang-o-boo tumhain yaad hum ne bhout kiya
