Hum chahte the jinko wo dil dukha gye

Hum chahte the jinko wo dil dukha gye

Kuch aise log the jo hmko rula gye

Jin logo se hmko tawaqqo wafa ki thi

Wo log dil se naqsh-e-wafa hi mita gaye
