Phool thay rang thay lamhon ki sabahat hum thay
Aisay zinda thay keh jeenay ki alamat hum thay
Sab khird mand banay phirtay hain her mehfil main
Is teray shaher main ik saahib-e-wehshat hum thay
Ab kisi aur kay haathon main tera haath sahi
Yeh alag baat hai kabhi ehal-e-rafaqat hum thay
Rat'jagon main teri yaad aayi to ehsaas hua
Teri raaton ka sakoon neend ki raahat hum thay
Ab to khud apni zaroorat bhi nahin hai hum ko
Woh din bhi thay keh kabhi teri zaroorat hum thay
